Mudra Equinox

The sun is straight over the Equator now, and our days in the northern hemisphere are getting shorter.

The deeply rich smells of the earth captured my senses yesterday, as we walked through the ancient forest. Though only second growth trees are left here in the Northwest of the US, these trees are huge, with thick, old crusts protecting their cores.

As Don and I walked I suddenly fully felt the awe of seeing GOD in ALL THINGS. Every single cell around us is made of the ONE STUFF.
This one stuff is God's body. The soil beneath our feet, the stones, the wind, the leaves, the sunlight, the atoms of air....... is all made of the body of God. IT IS THE ONENESS in FORM. We are touched and surrounded by the ONE Force...our very body, mind and soul is made of it.

What could be more phenomenal?

Look around yourself ...All is made of that one source material.... you ARE that.
The more I was conscious of this the more it made me bubble with joy to walk in the very cocoon of aliveness of God.

When we become aware of God not only in the physical forms that surround us, but when we reach into the states of purest consciousness..... of God.......we start to not only 'see' the body of God in action with our physical eyes, ......but we also BECOME this amazing energy in full awareness!

Such an awareness.....as it fills us with immense bliss.... allows us to experience God's presence from the inside out.
It is so overwhelmingly real, and we are in no further need of written words to convince us of divinity.
We become the vessel of supreme consciousness. It is God witnessing itself.....a paradox in action that would not be possible if there was no creation, or separation. As such this bliss is short lived, moment to moment...

MudraTraveling through India

I was traveling through India with my husband, to visit holy sites, and to discover the mystical nature of this ancient land. This early morning I had ventured out alone, and a young boy was rowing my little boat along the shores of the holy Ganges river. We were visiting the town of Varanasi, once called Benares, one of the most important pilgrimage places.

Silently our boat slowly meandered across this still and holy river, canopied only by the ancient light of the rising orange fire in the sky.
As we arrived at the shores of the Ganges hundreds of Indians swarmed around us like bees. The stillness had vanished.

Instantly a young boy, of maybe nine years, caught my eyes. He stared at me with his  intensely brown eyes, and his glowing gaze locked onto mine.
He was begging for some money to help him and his family make it through the day. India's poverty is heart wrenching and there are millions of souls living in destitute.

"God, I can't take care of all these poor Indians!" I bemoaned as I slowly walked up the long street to our car.
"You don't have to!" came an inner voice back at me. "You only have to take care of the one in front of you!"

How true it turned out to be!
Instead of hordes of beggars beleaguering me, only this one young boy followed me, until we arrived at the car. There I gave him a good amount of money, out of sight of other's, and our eyes locked for one more long, almost holy exchange. Unforgettable was the light in his eyes! What an incredible experience it was to behold his radiance. I was gifted with  a moment of heaven.

He, like so many Indians, carried a joy in his eyes, that shone beyond the few pennies a day he could glean from passer byes.
He had what was most important in life: An inner light and presence that shone no matter what the circumstance.

Truly, I realized, there was just this one boy, that was placed before me.
We can help one person at a time, and together we work for the whole of humanity.

MudraGive what you want to receive

Just yesterday I was reading this message somewhere:
When you are feeling needy, or feeling like you are not getting what you want, start giving what you want to receive.

How I love to be reminded. And how true this statement is!

My husband and I have made it one of our main attitudes to ensure that we have a great relationship. GIVE what you want to receive.
If I ever find myself falling into that mire of needing more than I feel I am getting,  as quickly as I possibly can, I try to get to the other side. I start by becoming a positive outflow of good and loving energy.

And VOILA, what a miracle: As soon as I give my sweet husband what I so desperately want myself, such as loving attention, you name it, life turns around, and I get what I was looking for.
Be a trend setter.

MudraCelebrating 4th July

As we are celebrating Freedom won in the USA so long ago, I do have to wonder why we seem to have to repeat history over and over again?

Does it makes sense, that we seem to have to reenact the same kind of historic lessons?

Well, it does, IF you see life on Earth as a SCHOOLHOUSE experience.
Is Earth rather a school that has a set curriculum, give or take a few points in elevation?

IF you imagine that the souls traversing this school are not all at the same level but are, just like in any other regular school, an ever changing sea of faces, moving through the grades, it start to make sense. The lesson plans stay the same. The teacher KNOWS that his last year's pupils are now one step further in their learning, and are possibly even teaching some of his students of this year's class.
New souls in, old souls out.
The curriculum stays the same.

Apply that to historic proportions and you will see a bigger plan, one that is not as bleak as the image of Sisyphus continuously trying to roll that proverbial stone up the same mountain.

It means, that you have a chance to learn your lessons in your life well, while understanding that others are working hard at getting their lessons

You are free to give others a hand in their studies, and take advice yourself and learn from prudent sources.
This model of reality can give you a heart full of COMPASSION for those that are still in grades you long left behind.

No need to sneer at those that are still struggling to add 1+1. You may have long learned this lesson, but those that seem like they are so inferior, are surely trying their best to grasp the magic of math in its beginning stages for the first time.

Now, does life on Earth make more sense?
Of course the implications are many. Many lives, many masters, many lessons.

Now, you can sit back and dream of your next schoolhouse!!! Learn your lessons well!
